The Oakland County Bar Association and the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan will present “CDAM at the OCBA: Skills Training” on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26-27, at the OCBA offices, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills. Check-in and networking begin at 8:30 a.m. with training starting at 9 a.m.
This hands-on training is designed for court-appointed counsel with less than two years of criminal defense experience. Each day is compliant for eight hours of Standard 1 of the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission requirements. Completion of both training days will fulfill the state-mandated annual requirement.
Speaking at the program will be Patricia A. Maceroni, Jack Holmes, and Kimberly Stout.
