Rachel Plawecki has been promoted to serve as Director of Constituent Services for the office of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, it was announced this week.
Plawecki, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from Yale School of Environment, previously served as deputy director of correspondence. Before her time at Whitmer’s office, she served as deputy legislative director for former House Democratic Leader Christine Grieg and legislative director for State Representative Darrin Camilleri.
Plawecki is the daughter of Judge Mark Plawecki of the 20th District Court in Dearborn Heights and the late Julie Plawecki, a former State Representative.
