Real Property Law Section hosting Ask the Experts event, Oct. 27
The Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan will presents its Construction Committee's Ask the Experts-Round 2 program in person on Wednesday, October 27, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Doeren Mayhew's office, 305 W. Big Beaver Road, Suite 200, in Troy.
Ask the Experts-Round 2, a mostly social event will present shared insights from construction sages Marty Burnstein and Peter Cavanaugh with guest commentary from Steve Mihalik. Attendees will be able to grab some food, enjoy a beverage, and mix it up with construction colleagues.
The agenda will include:
- Welcome (Committee Co-chair Aileen Leipprandt, Hilger Hammond)
- Toast to honor Kevin Gleeson
- Mediating Successfully (Marty Burnstein, Law Office of Marty A. Burnstein). Get some great tips on how to make the most of the mediation process and enhance the probability of a negotiated resolution.
- Pending Tax Changes-(Steve Mihalik, Doeren Mayhew). What will paying your fair share look like? Learn about possible tax policy outcomes as Congress hammers out the details of a major tax overhaul.
- Q&A / Open Forum (Committee Co-Chair Jeff Gallant, Clark Hill)
