The Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan will present a webinar on “Current and Predicted Trends in Crypto Currency Taxation and Enforcement” Wednesday, March 23, from noon to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Speaking at the webinar will be presenter Jeffrey D. Moss and moderator Buzz S. Leach.
Discussion will include:
• How are BitCoin and other crypto currency taxed?
• Who is using crypto currency?
• What about “mining” and exchanging activity?
• Who needs to disclose ownership today?
• How to deal with crypto in estate plans?
• What other laws are likely to be enacted in the future?
