'Demonstrative Aids Throughout Trial' explored by attorney in webinar

The Criminal Defense Association of Michigan will present the webinar "Show and Tell - Demonstrative Aids Throughout Trial" on Thursday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to noon via Zoom.

Speaking at the webinar will be CDAM Past President Karl P. Numinen. With more than 30 years of experience as a courtroom litigator, Numinen is a partner at Numinen, DeForge, & Toutant PC and Of Counsel to the Barone Defense Firm.

Numinen has obtained acquittals in jury trials in state and federal courts on many cases including, murder, criminal sexual conduct 1st degree, robbery, DUI, felony vehicular assault, tax fraud, possession of explosives, and possession and distribution of drugs.

In addition to serving as president of CDAM, Numinen has also served as a member, National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys; arbitrator, American Arbitration Association; member, Family Law Council, State Bar of Michigan; Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers; and on the executive committee of the Federal Bar Association, Western District of Michigan.

Numinen earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and his B.A. from Michigan State University.
