Keith Center hosting special event October 30

The Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights will sponsor the special event "Un-Lynched" on Sunday, October 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium on the campus of Wayne State University Law School in Detroit.

The program, will investigate the enduring biased legal system of the Jim Crow era and discover how one family escaped lynching with assistance from the NAACP. Scholar Dr. Margaret Burnham, author of "By Hands Now Known," will lead the discussion.
