The Levin Center for Oversight and Democracy's new State Oversight Academy (SOA) will present the webinar "Inside-Out: Bringing Facts on Prison Operations from Behind Bars to State Legislators" Wednesday, April 26, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom.
How do legislators equip themselves with facts on prison operations for decision-making? When there is a crisis in corrections officer employment, or a scandal in the news, where do legislators get the information they need to make necessary response decisions? The SOA will present a conversation on correctional institutions oversight featuring panelists from state governments across the country.
