The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will present a webinar on "Heavy Vehicle Collision Investigation and Reconstruction" Wednesday, May 10, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
Speaker Joseph Neal of Explico will discuss heavy truck accident investigation and reconstruction. Neal will explain and demonstrate the importance of evidence documentation and preservation, vehicle dynamics, collision severity, "Black Box" data, video analysis, and other principles of accident reconstruction. Three case studies will be discussed: low speed rear-end collision at "highway speeds," out-of-service brakes, and multiple dash camera videos to determine vehicle speeds.
By the end of the presentation, attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the unique aspects of heavy truck investigation and reconstruction, allowing them to make relevant decisions on these specialized cases.
