The Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan conducted the LELS Springboard “Anatomy of a Workplace Investigation” on Thursday, July 13, at The Community House in Birmingham. This year’s Springboard event featured a panel discussion by practitioners from both sides, whose practices focuses on workplace investigations, and arbitrators who are asked to credit, or discredit, such investigations in making their findings. Taking part in the Springboard were (left to right) Stephanie Setterington of Varnum LLP; Thomas Bowen of Bowen, Radabaugh, & Milton PC; Nakisha Chaney of Salvatore, Prescott, Porter, & Porter PLLC; Brian Koncius of Bogas & Koncius PC; moderator Susan Hiser of Fisher & Phillips LLP; and David Kotzian of Gasiorek, Morgan, Greco, McCauley, & Kotzian PC.
