State Bar of Michigan Labor & Employment Law Section will present its Annual Young Lawyers Event, “Learning to Golf with a Pro,” in Thursday, September 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wabeek Country Club, 4000 Club Gate Drive in Bloomfield Township.
The event features a one hour golf lesson with two golf professionals followed by drinks, food, and an opportunity to socialize with fellow colleagues and council members. The first 20 people to register get golf lessons while socializing after the lesson is open to all.
Golfers may bring a driver or any other golf clubs available for the lesson which will be held on the driving range around the back of the clubhouse and to the left of the “Gather” patio. Those not interested in a lesson may join for food and cocktails on the patio overlooking the course and the sunset. Valet parking is included in the registration.
Cost is $30. To register, visit https://connect.michbar.org/laborlaw/home.
