The Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights will celebrate the life and legacy of lawyer, Recorder’s Court judge and Congressman George W. Crockett Jr.  “The Legacy of Civil Rights Icon George W. Crockett Jr.” will take place Tuesday, February 13, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at Wayne State University’s Partrich Auditorium, 471 W. Palmer Ave. in Detroit.

A screening of a short documentary will be followed by discussion and questions.  A light lunch will be provided to the first to arrive.
