Bench/Bar Conference
The Oakland County Bar Association conducted the 2024 District
Court Bench/Bar Conference, “Recovering the Lost Art of Civility,” on
Friday, March 15, at The Community House in Birmingham. The OCBA’s
biennial District Court Bench/Bar Conference provides local attorneys
and judges the opportunity to interact outside the courtroom in an
informal, solution-oriented environment. Among those taking part in the
conference were (left to right) Timothy Flynn of Clarkston Legal PLC,
Oakland County 44th District Court Judge Andrew Kowalkowski, OCBA
President Melinda Deel of Melinda N. Deel PLLC, Oakland County 44th
District Court Chief Judge Derek Meinecke, and Jamie Low of The Dollar
Law Firm PLLC.
