Ryan Pejakovich, a sophomore at Climax-Scotts High school, placed first in the 100kg Junior Varsity weight class at the United States Powerlifting Association competition that was held on Thursday, April 4, in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
He had a squat of 529 pounds, a bench of 320 pounds and a dead lift of 522 pounds for a total lift weight of 1,371 pounds.
This outstanding achievement was supported by many members of the Climax-Scotts community, friends and family with their monetary donations and words of encouragement. Ryan and his family would like to convey their many thanks for the generosity that was shared in his championship.
