Applications are now being accepted for a seat on the Michigan Supreme Court to replace vacating Chief Justice Elizabeth Clement.
To be considered for this position, applicants must be a State Bar of Michigan member who meets the legal qualifications for this office. Completing and submitting both the Judicial Questionnaire Packet and the Supplemental Judicial Appointment Questionnaire with an application will be required to be considered for this appointment.
Judicial appointment questionnaire, writing samples, resume, and supplemental documents must be submitted using the online portal at www.michigan.gov/appointments and received by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 14. Additional letters of recommendation can still be submitted after the initial submission to judicialappointments@michigan.gov.
