The State Appellate Defender Office’s Criminal Defense Resource Center along with the West Michigan Regional Investigator Association will continue their 2025 Trainings for Defense Investigators with the webinar “Let’s Talk About Evidence!” on Thursday, May 1, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Defense investigator colleagues can gather for a moderated discussion about all things evidence – what the police should and shouldn’t do with evidence, how evidence is used in court, and how PD investigators should address evidence they encounter in their work.
Speaking at the webinar will be Arthur McClenne, an investigator with the Calhoun County Public Defender Office. Prior to joining the PD’s office, McClenne served for 26 years with the Battle Creek Police Department.
