Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) invites legal professionals to participate in its Virtual Guardianship\Probate Mediation Training in 2025.
This SCAO approved 16-Hour Advanced Mediator training is broken into two 8-hour sessions. Training will allow current mediators an opportunity to refresh and enhance their knowledge and skill set in understanding the nature and dynamics of adult guardianship and eldercare mediation and much more.
“OMC has been dedicated to providing quality mediation training for over 36 years,” said Charity Burke, OMC executive director. “Our training is designed to give participants, from all backgrounds, skills they can use immediately to serve and make a lasting impact on our community.”
The training will be held at OMC’s Auburn Hill location In-Person on Thursday and Friday, : June 12-13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The cost of training is $599.00. Participants will build on the elements of communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills that are used in both group mediations and meetings. Upon completion of training participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
