The Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM) will conduct a webinar on “Arraignment Training and Pleading at Arraignment” Friday, June 6, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

This session will discuss important information that attorneys need to get from the client as well as special bond conditions that need to be requested at arraignment, such as permission to leave the state or work curfew exception. Williams will also discuss traffic tickets and how to save a client points and fines. She will also discuss the importance of resolving a case at arraignment if that is what a client would like to do.
Attendees will learned how to:

• Find out special bond conditions to avoid having to file a motion later
• Know the different traffic violation points & fines in order to negotiate
• Try to resolve case same day if that is what the client wants
• Work with the court and prosecutors to develop a system that works in a local county
Cost for the webinar is $60 for CDAM members and $75 for non-members. The webinar offers 1.5 CLE Credit Hours. To register, visit https://cdam.wildapricot.org.
