The Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan will present “ From Table to Trial: Mastering Dining Etiquette and Courtroom Decorum” on Monday, August 18, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, 301 W Big Beaver Rd. in Troy.
Everyone has experienced those moments when they want to present themselves as professional and composed, but the best way to do so isn’t always clear. Sometimes people may not even realize the signals they’re sending.
This event is designed for law students and lawyers at all levels to sharpen their professional presence and gain practical insights — from the dining table to the courtroom. Attendees will learn best practices that enhance credibility, communication, and confidence in every setting.
During the dining experience at Fogo de Chão, Danielle Kovachevich, founder and CEO of The Detroit Academy of Etiquette, will discuss dining etiquette and Macomb County 41B District Court Magistrate/Deputy Court Administrator Ryan Zemke will cover courtroom decorum.
