The National Center for State Courts will present a webinar on “Data-driven Leadership” Thursday, August 14, from beginning at 3 p.m. via Zoom.
As more state courts rely on data to drive improvements and inform decisions, effective communication between court leadership and data professionals has never been more important.
This Data Dives webinar will feature State Court Administrator Tom Boyd of the Michigan State Court Administrative Office and State Court Administrator Judy Rupp of the Maryland Judiciary. The two will explore how courts can overcome common data challenges, foster collaboration, and unlock the full potential of data to serve justice more effectively.
This session will highlight real-world successes and practical strategies designed to help court leaders become more effective data consumers and advocates. Attendees will learn:
• How data serves as a powerful tool for decision-making, resource allocation, and increasing public trust in the judiciary.
• Why leaders must prioritize clear communication, invest in data quality, and foster a culture of engagement across all court levels.
• How embracing the challenges and celebrating successes help courts grow as data-driven organizations.
