‘Bar Complaints and Attorney Discipline’ focus of seminar

The Oakland County Bar Association will present a professional development seminar titled “Ethics II: Avoiding Bar Complaints and Attorney Discipline” on Tuesday, September 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the OCBA offices, 1760 S. Telegraph Rd., Suite 100 in Bloomfield Hills.

This in-person seminar offers advice and tips to avoid complaints and discipline issues. Designed for legal professionals seeking to better understand the system, the session aims to promote ethical practice and awareness of professional responsibility requirements in Michigan.  Speaking at the program will be Cooley Law School Professor Martha D. Moore.

Cost for the seminar is $35 for OCBA?members; $25 for committee members; $15 for OCBA new lawyers and paralegals;and $45 for non-members.
