Court invites public to provide feedback for long-term judicial system strategy

The Michigan Supreme Court is seeking public comments regarding development of the Michigan Judicial Council 2023-26 Strategic Plan. An online forum will be conducted Tuesday, September 16, from 4 to 5 p.m. via Zoom.

Interested individuals must register to reserve a spot on the meeting agenda or provide written comments using the public form at https://bit.ly/471YKpj. Once registered, they will be given Zoom coordinates for the meeting. The deadline to register for the meeting is September 15 at 5 p.m. There is no deadline to submit written comments.

Including a broad range of judicial system stakeholders, the Michigan Judicial Council (MJC) makes recommendations to the Michigan Supreme Court on matters pertinent to the administration of justice, including development of a strategic plan for the Michigan judicial branch and suggestions for proposals that would enhance the work of the courts.

The 2022-25 Strategic Agenda is set to expire at the end of this year, and the MJC is currently seeking public feedback as it works to develop its next three-year plan.
