The Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is gearing up for its 2025 Business Partner Expo. The art-themed event will take place Thursday, October 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Detroit Institute of Arts, 5200 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.
ALA’s biggest event of the year is filled with food, drinks and raffles. Business partners are free to get creative and decorate tables in the theme of art. Dressing up is encouraged, but certainly not mandatory. Props such as smoke/fog machines, lights, etc. are not allowed, as they may damage the art in the DIA.
ALA will also be collecting donations for Friends of Foster Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and youth in the foster care system. Though based in Macomb County, the organization serves children in Macomb, Oakland, Wayne County, and beyond. Since 2008, it has provided holiday gifts, high school graduation packages, essential items, and year-round programs that promote stability, independence, and hope.
