Rule of Law
The Professional Development Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association presented a seminar on “The Rule of Law in Practice: Lawyers’ Role in Preserving the Rule of Law” Wednesday, September 17, at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. Delving into the ethical and civic responsibilities of lawyers as guardians of justice were speakers (left to right) Barbara L. McQuade, former U.S. attorney and legal analyst; and Daniel D. Quick, former president of both the OCBA and the State Bar of Michigan, of Dickinson Wright PLLC. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from McQuade about her book “Attack from Within: How Disinformation Is Sabotaging America.”
