The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan’s Child Abuse Prosecution Resources (CAPR) and the Violence Against Women Project (VAWP) will present a “Sentencing Guidelines Workshop In Criminal Sexual Conduct Cases” on Thursday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Auburn Hills Public Safety Building, 1899 N. Squirrel Rd. in Auburn Hills.

Attendees will review Michigan’s Sentencing Guidelines, review the latest case law and will explore sentencing considerations in both adult and child sexual assault cases. Attendees will work through fact patterns to score guidelines and learn to support your scoring arguments on these sensitive cases.

This training is for prosecutors only and satisfies 7 hours of continuing legal education for purposes of PAAM’s Best Practices Recommendation.
