A (Habeas) Chorus Line to perform in Royal Oak

A (Habeas) Chorus Line returns to the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak with a public benefit concert on Saturday, October 11, at 7 p.m.  The church is located at 1314 Northwood Boulevard in Royal Oak.

In their latest show, “Our Farewell Tour, and This Time We Really Mean It – Maybe,” AHCL promise tons of laughs as it pokes fun at society, the economy and high prices, the roads, suburbia, the legal profession, and, of course, President You-Know-Who.  As a bonus, the audience can join the singers for free refreshments at the afterglow.

This season’s show is dedicated to AHCL member Joe La Bella who passed away on March 5 of this year.

A (Habeas) Chorus Line was formed in 1992 for what cast members thought was a one-time performance. The troupe creates parodies of existing show tunes, pop and original numbers. From local issues to national and international events, from judges to lawyers to politicians to celebrities, AHCL is an equal-opportunity lampooner.

Admission to the October 11 concert is free and no tickets are required, but a freewill donation is gratefully accepted. For additional information on AHCL, visit https://habeaschorus.com.
