Wayne State University Law School will present a program on “Looking Back at DOGE” Thursday, October 30, from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. in DJK 2242 at the law school, 471 W. Palmer Ave. in Detroit.
This debate will examine what the administration accomplished with DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and whether it represents a legitimate exercise of executive power or a destabilizing overreach. The speakers will address constitutional questions surrounding executive authority, the role of the permanent bureaucracy, and the implications of DOGE for the future of the administrative state.
Food and beverages will be provided at the program. To register, visit https://law.wayne.edu and scroll down to “events.”
