Keith Center to present Biennial Lecture NovEMBER 13

The Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights will present its 2025 Biennial Lecture on Thursday, November 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Wayne State University Law School’s Partrich Auditorium, 471 W. Palmer Ave. in Detroit.

The lecture will feature Dr. Lester Spence, professor of Political Science and Africana Studies at Johns Hopkins University, speaking on the topic of “Cultivating Radical Imagination:?Rethinking the Role of Institution Power in Detroit and Beyond.”   Spence will explore the topics of democracy and the importance of civic engagement in Detroit.
