Accompaniment services in legal proceedings discussed

The Michigan Judicial Institute will present the “Allowing Accompaniment Services in Legal Proceedings: AO–2025-1 Webinar” on Wednesday, January 14, from noon to 1p.m.

This webinar discusses the recent Supreme Court Administrative Order that authorizes a pilot program for Accompaniment Services.  The program will enhance judicial officers’ understanding of what accompaniment services are, who can provide them, and how that plays out in the courtroom, as well as the access to justice gaps that are meant to be addressed by the pilot.

This webinar is eligible for 1.0 Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) Credit [Judicial Practice & Related Areas]. To register for the webinar, visit www.courts.michigan.gov/events.
