Associations share good cheer
The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association and Wolverine Bar Association hosted their Holiday Party on Thursday, December 18, at LYV Detroit. Proceeds from the event benefited Detroit Heals Detroit, a youth-led organization committed to cultivating spaces for healing, empowerment, and leadership among Black youth in the city. Among those happy to support a good cause while celebrating the season were (left to right) Celeste Kinney, Lisa Timmons, Coriann McMillen, T.L. Summerville, Wolverine Immediate Past President Diane Hutcherson, Straker Treasurer Vassal Johnson II, Sherrie Farrell, Wolverine President Robbie Gaines, Michael Everett Hall, and Larry Johnson.
