A number of
dignitaries from the bench and bar were on hand for the 13th Annual
Patrick Henry Event on March 12 at the San Marino Club in Troy. The
event, spearheaded by Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren,
commemorated the anniversary of Patrick Henry’s “Give Me Liberty, or
Give Me Death” speech that was a rallying cry for the American
Revolution. This year’s event honorees were U.S. Senator Gary Peters and
Detroit News Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley. Pictured are (left to

at the event; and Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery
Matis.
