The Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan will host the Harriet Tubman Brunch – Unsung Heroes & Justice Awards on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greater Grace Temple – Banquet & Conference Center, 23500 W. 7 Mile Road in Detroit.
The brunch will feature keynote speaker Fani T. Willis. district attorney, Fulton County, Georgia. Also providing a special greeting will be Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield.
Retired Judge Deborah Thomas will serve as mistress of ceremony.
