Annual meeting
The Oakland County Bar Association conducted its 92nd Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 3, at The Community House in Birmingham. During the event, outgoing OCBA President Sarah E. Kuchon (far left), of Hohauser Kuchon, passed the gavel to incoming President Aaron Burrell (far right), of Dickinson Wright PLLC, who will serve as the OCBA’s 94th president. On hand to thank Kuchon for her work and congratulate Burrell were (left to right) Ed Pappas of Dickinson Wright, Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery Matis, Oakland County Probate Court Chief Judge Jennifer Callaghan, Dan Quick of Dickinson Wright, Judy Cunningham, and OCBA President-Elect Kari Melkonian of Fieger Law. The sold-out event also recognized the 2026 OCBA award recipients, honored members celebrating 40 years of legal practice in Michigan, and paid tribute to those who have maintained 50 consecutive years of OCBA membership.
