Health and Housing Summer Fest hosted in Royal Oak

Oakland County will present the Health and Housing Summer Fest on Thursday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Normandy Oaks Park, 4234 Delemere Blvd. in Royal Oak.

Oakland County residents can enjoy fun activities for kids and connect with free health, breastfeeding, and housing resource.

Event activities will include:

• Bounce house, splash pad and playground (must wear socks on bounce house)

• Backpack giveaway and raffles

• Free dental screenings for children entering Kindergarten

• Free lead screenings for children

• Free hearing screenings and basic ear exam from the University of Michigan

• Free haircuts and manicures for children from Dorsey College in Madison Heights

• Vaccine clinic for youth and adults

• Enroll in free health programs like WIC, Nutrition and home-visiting nursing
