Annual cookout

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s Association of Black Law Alumni (ABLA) hosted its Annual ABLA Cookout on Saturday, August 8, in the student parking lot at the law school. Detroit Mercy Law alumni, current students, and friends of ABLA enjoyed an afternoon of tasty grilled treats, great conversations, music, games, and more. Among those taking part in the food, fellowship, and fun were (left to right) Black Law Student Association Vice President Amir Saeed, Zahara Madaha, Aaron?Roberson of Bodman PLC, ABLA President Jessica Holmes, Detroit Mercy Law Dean Nicholas Schroeck, Larry Johnson, Wayne County Probate Court Judge Terrance Keith, and Kimberly Batchelor Davis, assistant director of Alumni Relations.
