The Oakland County Bar Association will present the webinar “Digital Dragnet: The Fourth Amendment after Chatrie” on Tuesday, October 13, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
This webinar will examine the most current developments in Fourth Amendment search and seizure law, including the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Chatrie v. United States which limits the use of geofence warrants and reinforcing constitutional protections for digital location data.
The program will provide an analysis of the court’s reasoning, its impact on the constitutional limits of digital searches, and the practical implications of the decision for criminal law practitioners.
