Lakeshore Legal Aid conducted its biennial Pro Bono Appreciation Event Breakfast on Thursday, September 17, at the Corner Ballpark in Detroit. On hand for the event were (left to right) Randy Safford of Safford & Baker, Lorena Bejan of ELLO Law, Thomas Polan, Lakeshore Pro Bono Director Heather Herbert, Min Huang of Wayne State University Clinical Education, Emma Trivax of Troutman Pepper Locke LLP, Lakeshore CEO Ashley Lowe, and Carter Polan. Lakeshore Legal Aid is a not-for-profit law firm providing a range of free civil legal services to people living with low income, older adults, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in southeast Michigan.
