The Women’s Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, is excited to announce its upcoming movie night. On Thursday, October 8, at 6 p.m., the WBA will be gathering for a private event and viewing of “Verity” at the Birmingham Theater.
Last year, the WBA book club read the book together. This year, the movie viewing offers as an opportunity to get together and raise funds for a brand-new Legacy Scholarship. In honor of the its 50-year celebration, the WBA board is creating a second scholarship to be awarded at the Annual Dinner.
Cost for the movie night is $30. Those interested in attending this event should email Natasha Rao at natasha-rao@hotmail.com.
