Changing legal landscape explored

The Association of Corporate Counsel Michigan Chapter (ACC-MI) presented a program titled "A Workplace in Flux: A Legal and Legislative Update on the Changing Legal Landscape in 2011" on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills.

Speaking at the event were Kathleen Bogas (center) of Bogas, Koncius, & Croson PC and of Marlo Johnson Roebuck (right) of program sponsor Jackson Lewis LLP.

Welcoming the speakers to the program was ACC-MI Board member Kristen Netschke (left) of Meadowbrook Insurance Group.

"We will be covering what's going on with the EEOC and their new aggressive regime; how to administer the ADA as it has been amended; third party retaliation claims in light of new Supreme Court opinions; and Ms. Bogas will be presenting on the top ten things she looks for in taking a plaintiff's case," said Roebuck.
