People's Law College final

Cutline The Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library hosted “Removing Barriers to Employment: Driver’s License Restoration and Criminal Expungement” as the final People’s Law College seminar on Tuesday, April 24.

Southfield attorney Raymond A. Correll (right) educated attendees on the legal process in the state of Michigan to restore a driver’s license or to expunge a criminal offense.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about the necessary criteria to be eligible for either court procedure and to receive information on how to begin the process.

This was the last seminar in the People’s Law College series which was sponsored by the Public Services Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association.

Welcoming Correll to the final seminar was Syeda Davidson of Lakeshore Legal Aid, OCBA PALS (Providing Access to Legal Services) Committee chair.
