The State Bar of Michigan’s Insurance & Indemnity Law Section and the Negligence Law Section presented “Litigator’s Guide to Navigating the New Michigan Business Courts” on Tuesday, Nov. 19. at Shield’s of Southfield.
Speaking at the program was Doug Toering (center) of Toering Law Firm PLLC. “We will be discussing the history of the business courts in Michigan—how the courts are functioning and what we expect to be the future of the business court,” he noted.
Welcoming Toering to the program were (left to right) Insurance and Indemnity Law Section Chair-elect Kathleen Lopilato of Auto-Owners Insurance Company and Insurance and Indemnity Law Section Chair Elaine Pohl of Plunkett Cooney PC.
