Students pass July bar exam, local admissions ceremonies planned

The list of those who passed the July bar exam has been posted by the State Board of Law Examiners and is printed on the back page of this edition of the Oakland County Legal News. The list is also available on the Board’s website, http://courts.mi.gov/Courts/MichiganSupremeCourt/BLE/Pages/default.aspx.
Local admission ceremonies have been planned and include the following:

• The Oakland County admission ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 6, at 11:45 a.m. The ceremony will be conducted at the Commissioners Auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse, 1200 N. Telegraph Rd. in Pontiac. Pre-registration is required and forms are available at www.ocba.org. Questions can be directed

• The Macomb County Bar Association will conduct its new lawyer admission ceremony on Thursday, November 12, at 4 p.m. at the Macomb County Courthouse 4th floor courtroom, 40 N. Main in Mt. Clemens. Participants are asked to check in by 3 p.m. Law school graduates who passed the bar exam and wish to register for the admission ceremony should contact Tracy Stabryla at 586-468-2940 ext. 101, by email at tstabryla@macombbar.org, or visit www.macombbar.org.

• The Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association/Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan New Lawyer Admission Ceremony, will take place Friday, November 13, at 12:30 p.m. (check-in begins at noon) at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center 13th Floor Auditorium in Detroit. All new attorneys who plan to take the oath at this ceremony must register online at www.detroitlawyer.org.  For additional information, email admissions@detroitlawyer.org.
