On Wednesday, December 2, Oakland County Commissioner Bob Hoffman was elected unanimously to be the Oakland County Board of Commissioners’ Human Resources chairman by his colleagues. Hoffman is a Republican who represents the communities of the Village of Holly and the townships of Groveland, Highland, Holly, Rose, and Springfield in District 2.
Hoffman is currently serving his second term on the Oakland County Board of Commissioners and is a member of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners General Government Committee. He will replace Oakland County Commissioner Michael Spisz as the Human Resources chairman. Hoffman moves up from the position of Human Resources vice chairman to become the committee leader.
He is also currently serving as chairman of the Oakland County Solid Waste Committee and is vice chairman of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners’ Republican Caucus.
“I am honored that my colleagues on both sides of the aisle have confidence in me. I am thankful that they have entrusted me with this leadership role,” stated Hoffman.
