For anyone who is a new lawyer, new to Oakland County, or who just wants an inside view of Oakland County Courts, the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will conduct its Basic Skills Seminar Series “Introduction to Practice” on Thursdays, January 7-February 4, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.
The seminar topics and dates are:
• District Court, January 7.
• Circuit Court, January 14.
• Family Court, January 21.
• Probate Court, January 28.
• Law Practice Management, February 4.
There is a special price of $90 to attend all five seminars (registration required by January 6) or the cost is $25 per individual seminar. Refreshments will be served.
