The Michigan Court of Claims has reported more than a dozen calls from members of the public who reported receiving a phone call from someone named “Trevor” who says there are legal proceedings against them in the Court of Claims and that they should call a 1-888 number. The Court of Claims points out to residents that it only handles claims against the state and will never call the public.
