The Oakland County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for one (1) citizen to serve on the Oakland County Retirement and Deferred Compensation (RDC) Board. Interested individuals will be applying for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2018. The deadline to apply is September 30.
Submitted applications will be reviewed by the RDC Board, which will recommend a candidate. The proposed candidate will need to be confirmed by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners. Members selected to serve on the RDC Board will attend monthly committee meetings during regular business hours and are responsible for administering the retirement plan adopted by the county to pay pension and retirement benefits to eligible retirees/participants.
