A “Gathering for Peace and Healing” took place in the courtyard of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law on October 10 to help those “buffeted in recent weeks by a series of events, both naturally and man-made,” according to members of the Mission & Identity Committee at the law school. “We all process these events in different ways, but peace and healing do seem to follow in the wake of positive action,” a spokesperson for the committee noted. “We lift our thoughts and voices in support of all who have been affected.”
