Panelists to discuss lawyers' role in progress of equality, September 14

The Patriot Week Foundation and the Oakland County Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion (D & I) and Law-Related Education (LRE) Committees will present “Is America Fulfilling Its Promise of Equality? What Role and Responsibility Do Lawyers Have In Making Further Progress?” on Tuesday, September 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Oakland County Bar Association, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100, in Bloomfield Hills.

This panel discussion, offered  during Patriot Week (www.PatriotWeek.org), will feature a diverse panel of historical and legal experts.  Patriot Week Foundation co-founder Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren will provide introductory introductory remarks.

Also speaking on the panel will be Lawrence Garcia (moderator), City of Detroit corporation counsel; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Yasmine Poles; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge-Appointee Kwamé Rowe; and Robin B. Wagner, Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Bonanni, & Rivers PC.
