'Ethical Limitations on Pleadings' discussed online

The Legal Ethics Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present an informative webinar on legal ethics. "Roundtable: Ethical Limitations on Pleadings & Attorney Speech" will take place Thursday, April 7, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Specifically, the webinar will evaluate:

  • How do your ethical obligations impact your pleadings? How do FRCP 1, 8, 11 & 12f impact them?

  • What is the intersection between your First Amendment rights and your ethical obligations in the practice of law?

  • MRPC 3.6 and Yelp reviews, media communications, and your use of social media.

Speaking at the roundtable will be U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Anthony Patti, Eastern District of Michigan, Jennifer McManus, Kenneth M. Mogill, and Lynn Helland.
