Law firm conducts Annual Health Care Webinar Series

From non-compete agreements and antitrust laws to HIPAA and behavioral health, cannabis and CBD to telehealth and fraud and abuse updates, the world of health care is dynamic and fast-moving.

Dickinson Wright PLLC will present its annual webinar series to gain a practical understanding of the ever-changing health care laws, and how they apply to business, patients, practices, and clients.

The experienced and knowledgeable health care lawyers at Dickinson Wright will cover a wide variety of the hottest health care topics.

The first session, "Monopoly Money: Do Non-compete Agreements Violate Antitrust Laws and if so, How?," will take place Thursday, June 16, beginning at 1 p.m. Speaking at this session will be Troy office attorneys Kimberly Ruppel and Emma E. Trivax

Trivax is an associate attorney and is a part of the healthcare law group. Her practice focuses on Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payor audits, licensing and regulatory compliance matters, and Fraud and Abuse matters, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark law, and other federal and state fraud and abuse laws. Trivax is particularly knowledgeable on the collateral-claims exception and how to navigate the administrative appeals process for various audits and healthcare appeals.
