The Hub Stadium in Novi was the site of the Oakland County Bar Association’s 18th Annual Challenge between the New Lawyers Committee (NLC) and the OCBA Board on Wednesday, March 15. This year the teams squared off in an axe throwing competition. The Board brought an end to the NLC’s two-year winning streak and took home the trophy after winning this year’s Challenge. Among those trying their hand at axe-throwing were (left ro right) Board member Victoria B. King, Oakland County Circuit Court; Colby Boman, Collins Einhorn Farrell; NLC member Alex Sheldon-Smith, Law Offices of Alan B. Cooper; OCBA President Liz Luckenbach, Dickinson Wright PLLC; OCBA Vice President Dean Googasian, The Googasian Firm PC; and NLC Chair Silvia Mansoor, Foley, Baron, Metzger, & Juip PLLC.
